WELCOME TO EQUAL SAY ADVOCACY

Equal Say has been providing independent advocacy for adults with learning disabilities in Greater Glasgow since 1995.

Equal Say was originally established for the residents and ex-residents of Lennox Castle Hospital, an institution that was situated in Lennoxtown, about 10 miles North of Glasgow. Many of its residents had lived there for decades and had no experience of making choices and living as individuals. It was recognised that people who had not had the opportunity to develop the skills or support networks needed to make choices about their own lives, may need some extra help to do so.
Equal Say is working towards an accessible website, if you have difficulty accessing this website, please contact us.

JOB OPPORTUNITIES

We currently have no vacancies.

However, we are looking for volunteer advocates who would be willing to give some time to get involved in the lives of people who have a learning disability. We will offer you a comprehensive preparation course that covers everything you need to know, and in the process, gain the experience and knowledge about advocacy. For further details please contact us.
