    Scottish Independent Advocacy Alliance is a network of all independent advocacy organisations in Scotland; contact for organisations in each area of Scotland, and information about advocacy.

    Advocacy resource exchange is an English national resource agency for advocacy and has publications, training materials and a lot of information about advocacy.

    Scottish Consortium for Learning Disability is a consortium of learning disability organisations; provides training and information. 

    The Office of the Public Guardian has a general function to supervise those individuals who have been appointed to manage the financial affairsof an adult who lacks the capacity to do so for themselves.

    The Mental Welfare Commission works to safeguard the rights and welfare of everyone with a mental illness, learning disability or other mental disorder.
